Digital cameras replaced the film cameras and became an integral part of our lives. One can purchase a good digital camera for as low as 100$. We take large number of pictures and do not worry about the costs of processing films. Though, we still need to pay if we want to have some prints done. Prices for developing prints from range from 0.15$ to 0.5$ per print. So, if you want a couple of prints, then the cost is really not that significant, but if you would like to have several hundreds of prints made, then the cost will add up significantly.

LCD digital photo frames are a great alternative to prints. They are compact, come in different sizes (anywhere from 7 inches to 15 inches in diagonal), have bright and colorful displays, and have internal storage. If the size of internal storage is not enough, then a USB key can be connected directly do a digital photo frame and the frame would be able to read and display pictures straight from the connected USB key.

2. I love those myself. I wish they would start making digital frames in larger screen sizes. I have a 10MP camera and it would have been nice to have a digital frame with 22 inch diagonal :)
