Entrecard blogs browser

Hello folks,

I decided to release another script of mine that greatly simplifies the dropping of Entrecard cards on other blogs. The script is similar to the manual hit exchange scripts: you select a category and hit the “Browse” button to load the blog.

The system keeps track of the blogs you visited and does not load the blogs that you already visited and dropped your cards on. To use it you need your Entrecard user id which can be found in the address bar of the browser when you are on your “Dashboard” page of the Entrecard account.

The system also allows you to reciprocate card drops by browsing blogs that are listed in your “recent drops” RSS feed. Simply select the appropriate option button, enter the URL of your RSS feed and start returning the favor.

If you like the script, then send me some EC points or blog about this script (when blogging please link to this page and not to the script page).

Here is the link to the script.

How to use the script? To use the script you need:

  1. The URL of the RSS feed that lists those who dropped their cards on you.
  2. The Entrecard account number.

To find the URL of the RSS feed, login into your Entrecard account (you have to be on the Dashboard page) and look in the right-top corner for the RSS icon. Right click on the RSS icon and select to copy the link location option.

To find your Entrecard user id, login into your Entrecard account (you have to be on the Dashboard page) and get the number that would be in the URL bar of the browser.

The application still need a lot of work. Please post here your suggestions.

Thank you and have a great day.

Nikolai

  11. I think I am one of those entrecarders he is addicted to. I noticed that he was one of those blogs which he visited regularly. At least that is what I think. I spend too much time on entrecard as well.

  13. I’ve been using your script and really like it. However.. today when I try in Opera, with my rss feed, I am getting this message:

Unknown column ‘75TYC7THWG’ in ‘where clause’

That alfa string is the string in my rss. I haven’t tried it in Firefox, yet.

Thanks for this script! I love being able to put my rss in there for reciprocal drops.
