It is really beneficial to have your sites listed in Yahoo directory. But having to pay 300$ a year to get your site listed is a bit too much. Fortunately there is a solution.

Yahoo Canada is at this point accepting free submissions since Yahoo is trying to make it bigger. The address is ca.dir.yahoo.com. Here is what you need to do to add your site:

1. Click the above URL to go to Yahoo Canada :)

2. Find the best category for your site and click the “Suggest a site” button (it will be on the right hand side of the screen).

3. Now fill out the form (add your site’s information) and click the “Submit” button.

21. I tried it and it won’t take my site for some reason??

    It says on step 4 that I didn’t complete it? But my blog isn’t expected to expire, and it isn’t about a special event?? So I don’t know what else to try??
